Foundation's Programs
The information on the achievements of Russian athletes and teams is provided by the Foundation’s official partner, the Federal Agency for Physical Culture and Sports (Rossport).
The programs of the Foundation are supported by the Russian Olympic Committee.
Grant recipients: athletes, coaches and specialists, Olympic champions, Olympic prizewinners – members of Russian national Olympic teams.
Grant programs:
- Torino-2006 (April 2005 – March 2006);
- Beijing-2008 (April 2005 – August 2008);
- Olympic Accomplishments – 2006 (March 2006 – December 2006).
Expected results: Goal-directed and more efficient training and conditioning for the Olympic Games.
Foundation resources intended for carrying out the programs (establishers’ charitable contributions): upward of 4 million USD.
In 2005, 1500 athletes, coaches and specialists received Foundation grants according to Torino-2006 and Beijing-2008 programs.
The program budget amounted to 14 million 185 thousand USD in 2005.
